Job evaluation is a process of comparing jobs by use of formal and systematic procedures in order to establish a rank order of the job to another. This enables the organizations to fix the wage or salary level, which will be fair and equitable. Thus, job evaluation is aimed at determining the relative worth of the job. It based on factors such as skills, efforts, responsibility and working conditions.

Methods of Job Evaluation: - There are four methods to determine the worth of jobs, which are as follows:
1) Ranking Method
2) Job Classification Method
3) Factor Comparison Method
4) Point Method
